The Project:
Interactive IT Expo for AMA University (then AMA Computer College), co-sponsored by the DECS (Department of Education) scheduled for the summer of 2000 at the World Trade Center. Objective was to gain interest for careers in IT – and increase AMA’s enrollment numbers in the process.
Design Notes:
If it looks like clip art, then it probably is. Haha. Maybe we were too excited at the fresh installation of Illustrator we had just received. Or maybe the deadlines were tight. Or maybe a little bit of both.
The logo.
Design for the entrance to the expo. The video screen at the center of the installation was to feature a Max Headroom-like host. “Start Your Future Here” was AMA’s tagline, courtesy of their ad agency.
Wraparound designs for the various booths.
The expo layout.
What Happened:
Project cancelled. Some funding problem or other. Or maybe it was just the clip art.
