The Project:
A New Year’s Day electrical parade scheduled for 2001, and a trade launch to sell the event to potential sponsors. A proactive effort from the officers of the ASAP (Advertising Suppliers Association of the Philippines).
Design Notes:
Trade Launch: Sequential stage designs showing the reveal of the parade logo.
The showcase of the Trade Launch: a sample parade float.
The planned parade route: Roxas Boulevard, ending right by the Quirino Grandstand.
The Parade: An arch of torches would activate each float as it passed through.
Torch pillars along the parade route.
The concert stage at parade’s end.
What Happened:
